The Portuguese Data Protection Law: Challenges of Implementation

LISPOLIS will host on May 22, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the event "The Portuguese Data Protection Law: Challenges of Implementation", promoted by Rádio Renascença and with the support of SGS Portugal.

 

This is a conference on the implementation of the General Regulation on Data Protection in Portugal, focusing on the transposition of the European Data Protection Directive into domestic legislation. This event will discuss the dilemmas of legislators, the challenges and costs of implementing the new law in the public and private sectors.

 

Speakers include the Secretary of State for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the President of the National Commission for Data Protection, the President of the Working Group of the Republic of Germany on Data Protection, representatives of companies and municipalities.
