In a globalized and increasingly complex world, the need to implement development strategies that can sustainably guarantee the competitiveness of domestic enterprises, including small and medium-sized enterprises, is consensual.

 

It is in this context that Industry 4.0, materializing what has been called the 4th industrial revolution, presents itself as a clear opportunity to boost the competitiveness of national companies. Thus, in this work session we will have as objective:

  • Present and understand the scope of Industry 4.0, referring to the various industrial initiatives underway;

  • List the key elements and steps to be considered by companies in the adoption and implementation of the principles and solutions associated with Industry 4.0;

  • Know national reference cases.
