EDP Open Innovation is back with the 2017 edition!
This acceleration program is for new business projects focused on technological innovation in the areas of clean-tech and energy.
EDP Open Innovation will take tech and energy startups from the early stage to a business in just 3 weeks. During the program, the startups will learn and apply the Lean Startup methodology through 9 boot camps that will guide them step by step in validation of their startup’s business model.
Startups that graduate from EDP Open Innovation will have completed extensive customer validation activities and leave with a tested business model they can confidently launch into the real market and pitch to potential investors.
The program is directed towards teams with a technology-based business idea related to the energy industry. The program will be held in Lisbon during the month of October 2017 with space for 15 of the top worldwide startups.
For the foreign startups accepted in the program, flight and accommodation expenses will be offered. Applications are open for startups across the world. The winner will receive €50.000 and incubation at EDP Starter and the 3 best teams will also showcase their projects at the WebSummit 2017!
